Vodafone is the largest mobile phone network in the world. Our challenge was to help them reposition their global brand, to align with Vodafone’s core belief that new technologies and digital services will play a positive role in transforming society and enhancing individual quality of life over the years ahead. This idea of being ready, ready for the way new technology can impact our lives positively, is central to the strategy and creative solution.

The new brand identity gives great emphasis to Vodafone’s iconic speech mark, in the biggest change since the speech mark logo was created in 1998. The ‘speech mark’ now appears as the central graphical focus overlaid on all marketing communications. Reacting to various inputs such as speech, in motion we unlock the potential of the mark to tell stories for the brand and create texture. The key lined version is an iconic graphic device which can be adapted by the 38 markets to house messaging, imagery devices and much more.
